Beautiful Designs and Photo Anniversary Invitations

Your milestone anniversary invitation can be personalized with your original wedding photo to create a special keepsake for family and friends. Traditional colors for each milestone year include 25th-Silver, 40th-Ruby, and 50th-Gold anniversary. Many of these colors are unknown as event colors, and we often adjust the colors of your anniversary invitation design to match your theme. If you’d like to use a different color or even the original wedding colors, just send us a sample or mention it at the end of your invitation text. In addition to the designs below, we create custom designs. If you have something special in mind, let’s talk.

50th Anniversary invitations are typically done in shades of gold. We prefer the stately antique gold color for our invitations, adding depth and timelessness. Paired with a photo printed in black and white, the effect is stunning.

50th Wedding Anniversary Party Themes

Here are some themes you can use at your 50th-anniversary party:

Golden Oldies: This theme is a great way to celebrate your anniversary by reminiscing about the good old days. You can decorate your party space with golden balloons and streamers and play music from the 1950s and 1960s. You could even get cutouts of famous singers from the era. Can you set out the original wedding dress on a dummy? Decorate your party space with nostalgic decor, and serve food inspired by your favorite childhood memories.
A Golden Sunset: This theme is perfect for a beach party or a picnic. You can decorate your party space with golden sand and palm trees and serve tropical-themed food and drinks.
Black, White and Gold: This theme is a classic and elegant way to celebrate your 50th anniversary. You can decorate your party space with black and white balloons and streamers, white flowers, and black bows and serve gold-themed food and drinks. You could even suggest that guests wear black and white and see what fun outfits they come up with.
Floral Centerpieces: Flowers are always in style. Decorating with floral arrangements is a beautiful and romantic way to celebrate your 50th anniversary. You can decorate your party space with floral centerpieces and serve food that is inspired by your favorite flowers. Lay vintage photos around the centerpieces to add a bit of nostalgia, or add them to pics in the flower vases. Make sure these are copies, as they often go home with guests.
Vintage Wedding Photographs: This theme is a great way to celebrate your 50th anniversary by looking back on your wedding day. You can display photos from your wedding at your party and play music from your wedding day.
